I’ll be turning 18. My friends, please welcome me to the world of legalization!!!! \:D/ Oh yeah, I know it’s a little too early to get hyped up about it, but maaaaan, the mere thought of being legal six months from now —— HEEAAAAVEEENNNN! \:D/
You know how teenagers love to celebrate their parties with formal get-up or throw some wild party and act like party animals? Well, I don’t like that shit. I’m not really a fan of those kinds of things.
I am more of a kid at heart! Soooo, here’s where the dreaming part of the blog starts.. (So to those people who don’t give a shit about this, you may now skip this entry :D)
I want a children’s party :( I’ve always wanted to celebrate my party at a fast food chain like Jollibee because it’s simple and it somehow reminds me that I was once a little girl whose only problems were waking up early for school, not being able to play outside and the pain of having a booboo.
I want my kiddie party to have lots of guests! I want my 18 men to wear V-neck shirts, plain shorts and put suspenders on! So they’d look like Luigi and Mario! :> I want my 18 women to wear polka dot dresses or at least tops and decent pants/shorts and wear really cute headbands so they’d somehow look like Minnie Mouse! And yours truly will wear jumpers just like how I wore my jumpers back in my 7th birthday!
You may think I’m such an idiot for wanting a kiddie party for my debut but I have my reasons.
People are so hungry for adulthood. People are looking into the future that they forget what’s currently happening around them and what was once their present. People are so hungry for experience and maturity that they forget their existence back when they were filled with innocence. People are so excited to grow old that they forget to enjoy their childhood.
If my dream debut happens..
When I grow old and tell my grandkids the story of my childhood, I’d probably tell them, “Before I turned 18 and became legal, I effortlessly enjoyed my childhood years. I was able to enjoy my 18th birthday like a kid and I have no regrets about it. Someday, you’ll realize that being old sucks. So enjoy your childhood, kid. You’d thank me in my grave one day.”
